BBC News signs new head of marketing from APL

- The BBC has appointed Anna Gorman, a managing partner at Ammirati Puris Lintas, to the new post of head of marketing for BBC News.

- The BBC has appointed Anna Gorman, a managing partner at Ammirati Puris Lintas, to the new post of head of marketing for BBC News.

In her new role, Gorman will develop and implement a marketing strategy for BBC News, which includes the news output of BBC Online and Ceefax as well as the BBC's radio and television news. She will join the BBC Broadcast marketing team and will report to Sue Farr, director of marketing communications at BBC Broadcast.
