Bartle Bogle Hegarty has won a global assignment from Ferragamo,
the Florence-based luxury goods company.
BBH beat a team from Saatchi & Saatchi’s London and Rome offices to win
the launch task for the firm’s unnamed first fragrance. Zenith has won
the media business.
Ferragamo, founded in the 20s, makes and sells shoes, handbags, luggage,
scarves and other luxury goods.
Separately, BBH has revised its account management structure into three
teams headed by the group directors, Duncan Bird, Emma Cookson and
Seamus O’Farrell. O’Farrell joins from Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, where
his main responsibility was the BT account.
Steve Kershaw, previously a group director, is to head the new-business
unit at BBH as business development director. Kershaw commented: ’The
global media deal with Leo Burnett gives BBH a tremendous opportunity to
expand its international and our national client base.’
