Partners BDDH has hired Jason Fretwell and Greg Milbourne as its

most senior creative team to work immediately under the creative

partners, Derek Day, John Dean and Simon Green.

Milbourne and Fretwell join BDDH from TBWA GGT Simons Palmer, where they

are both board directors. The duo joined Simons Palmer Clemmow Johnson

from Saatchi & Saatchi in August 1997, only weeks before the merger with

TBWA was announced.

Fretwell said: ’At Partners we will have the opportunity to make a

difference across the whole spectrum of work. The agency’s ambition

matches ours and we are up for the challenge of producing great

work.’

The team will join Partners BDDH at the beginning of May after they have

finished current shoots for Play-Station and Goldfish.

Green said: ’They are here to create famous work and not to perform a

management role. They will be the most senior team after the three

creative partners but they also have the youth and enthusiasm we are

looking for. They fit in with the culture of the agency and they want to

prove themselves.’

Fretwell, a copywriter, was one of Campaign’s Faces to Watch in

1996.

He paired up with Milbourne when they moved to Simons Palmer and since

then they have worked on Nike, Goldfish, Sony PlayStation and Nissan

Micra.

Before they joined forces, Fretwell won awards for work on Castlemaine

XXXX, the Army and Silk Cut, while Milbourne won awards for his work on

The Independent, the Army and the multiple sclerosis ’advent calendar’

campaign.
