Part of the 2010 Originals campaign, 'The Street Where Originality Lives', the film is set to launch on TV on 12 June but the full-length two-minute film has already been seeded online.
Created in partnership with Lucasfilm, it recreates one of the most famous 'Star Wars' scenes, the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine.
The scene imagines the cantina five minutes before the kick-off of a World Cup game, tying in with the sportswear brand's sponsorship of the tournament.
Celebrities such as David Beckham, Franz Beckenbauer, Snoop Dogg, Noel Gallagher, Ian Brown, Ciara, Jay Baruchel, Daft Punk and DJ Neil Armstrong have been introduced into orginal footage featuring George Lucas' characters Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3P0 and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Adidas Originals global director of communications Tom Ramsden said: "[The ad] brings together all elements of Adidas Originals and the diverse people who wear it - artists, athletes, musicians, skaters and so on, all in one place, doing what they love to do.
"So when we thought about how to best present Adidas' partnerships with Star Wars and the 2010 FIFA World Cup, we immediately thought of temporarily turning the Mos Eisley Cantina into a place to watch some football and invite some friends along."
