BenQ signs up as sponsor of ITV's Euro 2004 website

LONDON - The technology company BenQ signed up as exclusive sponsor of ITV's Euro 2004 website.

The website provides news and statistics from the tournament and -- for the first time in ITV's history -- free 30-second video highlights from the day's matches. A more in-depth paid for premium service will also be available to users.

The site launches this Thursday with pre- and post-match opinion from ITV's football commentators including the former England managers Terry Venables, Graham Taylor and Sir Bobby Robson.

The sponsorship includes branding throughout the website, broadcast endscreen URL promotions on ITV1 and ITV2 and co-branded promotion across ITV's other online sports properties.
