- Internet video sales specialist Blackstar has appointed Bartle Bogle Hegarty Unlimited to its £10 million advertising account.
The through-the-line sister company to BBH won the account after a pitch against Team Saatchi. J Walter Thompson had been invited to pitch, but pulled out due to client conflict.
The new campaign will run on TV, outdoor and cinema. Online creative will be handled by new media consultancy, Profero.
Media planning and buying will be handled by BBJ Media Services, which was appointed to the account after a pitch against MediaVest. The incumbent, Northern Ireland's Navigator Blue, did not repitch.
Blackstar hopes the increased ad spend will help it achieve its goal of £20 million in sales this year.
