- BMP DDB has seen off competition from three of the UK's most highly regarded advertising agencies to retain the £15 million ($24.6 million) Barclaycard creative account.

Barclaycard called a review of its account in early September and invited Abbott Mead Vickers.BBDO, Bartle Bogle Hegarty and WCRS to pitch against BMP. The agencies pitched last week and it emerged today that BMP had triumphed.

BMP has held the account for nine years and produced some award winning and highly praised ads featuring Rowan Atkinson. Its most recent campaign carried the line: 'Don't put it off…Put it on Barclaycard'.
