Boots is promoting its summer product offering with a dedicated £5m advertising campaign called "Get out there". The campaign, by Mother, is built around a 60-second spot that encourages people to make sure they are prepared for the unpredictable British summertime. The ad opens with shots of people looking up into the cloudy sky as the sun starts to peek out from behind a cloud. As the day rapidly brightens up, they stop what they are doing and scramble out into the sunshine, ripping their clothes off, heading to beaches, golf courses and parks. The ad ends as the sky darkens when a grey cloud appears and the sun is once again hidden.
