- Cable television station The Box has launched what it claims is a ground breaking website which will allow advertisers to break away from using banner ads by allowing them to employ both moving graphics and audio in their ads.

The BOXZone site incorporates Real Audio Streaming and Shockwave Flash technology, which allows visitors to request video clips over the web. The site integrates elements of the TV channel, such as live interviews, the latest and future top ten videos.

According to Box chief executive, Vincent Monsey: "We have created a visually driven site that combines audio, video, graphics and text. BOXZone offers a high innovative environment for brands looking to extend their links with the Box."
