Britain's Got Talent maintains audience hold with almost 10m tuning in

ITV's Britain's Got Talent has maintained its hold on audiences for the third week running, attracting 9.9 million viewers on Saturday night.

The show took a 46.5 per cent share of the audience, according to overnight figures. It was broadcast between 8pm and 9.20pm.

The figure dropped slightly from last week’s 10.3 million but maintained ahead of the BBC’s The National Lottery: Win Your Wish List and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.

The National Lottery: Win Your Wish aired during BGT between 8.05pm and 8.55pm and attracted just 2.7 million people, a 12.6 per cent share.

Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, a variety show, aired between 7.15pm and 8.05pm and pulled in 5.1 million people, a 28.7 per cent share of the total audience.

It beat ITV’s entertainment offer of Bang on The Money, which was shown for one hour at 7pm. Presenters Rickie Haywood Williams and Melvin Odoom failed to beat McIntyre with an audience of 2.5 million, a 13.9 per cent share.
