BT global markets signs new marketing chief

- BT Global Markets, the division of BT specialising in providing telecommunications services to multinational corporations, has appointed Chris Brickler as vice president, marketing.

- BT Global Markets, the division of BT specialising in providing telecommunications services to multinational corporations, has appointed Chris Brickler as vice president, marketing.

Brickler joins BT from GTE where he was an assistant vice president, working on the US telecoms company's internet interests striking deals with AOL, UUNet and AT&T.

In addition Brickler has been appointed to the transition team for the AT&T/BT global venture, where he will focus on internet solutions.
