Budimlija replaces Bowden in MEC role

Mediaedge:cia has appointed Verra Budimlija as its head of strategy, replacing Stuart Bowden, who left the agency at the start of the year to become the deputy managing director at Vizeum.

Previously the head of strategy at Joshua G2, Budimlija will report to Stuart Sullivan-Martin, MEC’s chief strategy officer.

She has also been the head of planning at Nitro, the group planning director at M&C Saatchi and is a former head of planning at Leo Burnett Thailand.   

Budimlija will work alongside the agency’s strategy director, Ian Edwards, and will also head strategy at MEC Interaction, the agency’s digital arm, and MEC Access, MEC’s sponsorship group.

Digital marketing executives oversee the online marketing strategy for their organisation. They plan and execute digital (including email) marketing campaigns and design, maintain and supply content for the organisation's website(s).
