Burberry uses social to tease spring/summer 2016 collection

Burberry has launched a teaser ahead of its spring/summer 2016 ad campaign, with a social media-inspired series of images that are a far cry from its typically slick advertising.

The campaign, which launches in the new year, has been shot by fashion photographer Mario Testino under the direction of Burberry chief Christopher Bailey. It will run across multiple media platforms, including out-of-home and across social media.

The teaser is on YouTube and comprises a series of stills of pseudo-grungy models sporting the 2016 collection.

Burberry has cast a number of newcomers, including Misha Hart, Pierce Brosnan son's Dylan Brosnan, Eliza Fairbanks, sisters Ruth and May Bell and Liam Gardner. The soundtrack is Alison Moyet’s ‘Whispering Your Name’.
