The fast food giant is kicking off a 'Party in the Park' promotion in April and is introducing Pork BBQ Whopper, Mushroom Swiss Steakhouse, Ciabatta Chicken TenderCrisp and Chicken Fries to its menu.

The Pulled Pork BBQ Whopper will be available ar £4.79 or £6.49 for the meal and the Chicken Fries will be sold for £2.29 (6pc) or £2.99 (9pc), according to blogger BurgerLad.com

The move to bring back Mushroom Swiss could prove popular for the brand, with petitions online calling for the chain to reinstate the burger. Burger King did not respond to requests for comment but it is understood the menu item will not be a permanent addition.

Last month, Burger King revealed it was rolling out a three month home delivery trial to tap into the at home takewaway market.

All items will be available to order, as well a number of  combo deals aimed at upselling to hit the minimum delivery cost including two large meals, large fries and drinks, and nine chicken nuggets for £15 and three large meals, large fries and drinks and 20 chicken nuggets for £20.

However only eight restaurants are involved in the trial ahead of a potential national roll-out.
