Burnett's Sareen joins lateral as creative director

- The web consultancy Lateral has named Su Sareen from Leo Burnett as its creative director. Sareen was previously European creative director at Leo Burnett.

- The web consultancy Lateral has named Su Sareen from Leo Burnett as its creative director. Sareen was previously European creative director at Leo Burnett.

Sareen joined Leo Burnett as creative director in 1996 from Grey Dusseldorf. In 1997 she was promoted to European Creative Director.

Sareen began her advertising career at as a trainee art director at Ogilvy & Mather and has also worked for FCB and Grey. She then joined McMillan & Hughes as a commercials director before joining the BBC to make documentaries.

Sareen said: "Because of my interest in the digital world I have also been involved in any excursions Burnetts have made into the new world. I was the creative director on the launch of zoom.co.uk, and on the global Sonera Zed business (which is about to launch a package of information services to mobiles)."
