The buzz: KFC and fostering

The buzz: KFC and fostering

The new KFC ad, created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty, has prompted debate on social media. It features a child who has just been fostered by a new family. Some commentators praised the spot for presenting fostering in a positive light, while others were unhappy that the company was using a sensitive subject to sell fast food.

Thank you @kfc for showing a positive  & moving story of fostering/adoption in your ‘50 years of family’ matters. @Home4Gd

Disgusting advert from KFC..using adoption/fostering to sell chicken..GTF..

#KFC makes me nauseous at the best of times, but that new fostering advert genuinely makes me heave

Why have KFC got a better advert for fostering than Bernardos or the government?

The KFC advert about the kid being adopted and finding a new family is too deep just to promote a bargain bucket
