Calvin Klein picking Mother New York to handle its advertising was a strange choice.
Creative directors at fashion labels rarely entrust agencies with their vision for the brand and, besides, there’s usually scant opportunity for agencies to add value to a fashion campaign. Still, Calvin Klein's newest work goes beyond putting good-looking people into the brand's Jeans and you would assume that this is down to Mother's influence. Of course, there are still good-looking people wearing Calvin Klein's jeans in the ads, but the posters are livened up by snippets of sexting conversations. The campaign was shot by Mario Sorrenti.
