Cameron considers move to Coca-Cola

Hugh Cameron, DFGW's joint managing director, is in talks with Coca-Cola about taking a European advertising role at the soft drinks giant.

No deal has yet been signed and it is understood Cameron is still in discussions about his future at the agency, but the news is a blow for DFGW, which last September underwent a management restructure that placed Cameron and Tom Vick at its helm.

This followed the departure of Paul Grubb, its creative director, while Michael Finn, its chief executive, has taken a back seat.

DFGW had a difficult 2004, losing more than an estimated one-third of its billings. Learn Direct and Nutricia exited last year, while is relationship with General Motors hangs in the balance after it handed FCB a portion of its business.
