Eye of the Storm, the commercials production house, has shut down after

just over three years.

Telephones are not being answered at the Soho-based office, and it is

understood that the company has closed because of financial

difficulties.

Eye of the Storm is best known for the controversial ‘great frog’

commercial, directed by Keith English for Jo Tanner and Viv Walsh at

Saatchi and Saatchi. It was banned by the British Board of Film

Classification for its endine: ‘If you don’t like it... fuck off.’

Last October, Eye of the Storm announced significant expansion plans and

signed up a new director and a producer, Duncan Robson and Emma

Walliker. At the time, the managing director, Brendan Payne, said he was

looking to sign three more directors. These plans did not materialise.
