Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO didn’t let last week’s emergency landing
of Concord affect its network’s pitch for the Frito-Lay account, despite
the fact that the agency’s managing director, Andrew Robertson, was on
the plane which was found to be lacking a wing panel.
We’re glad to say Robertson, who was on his way to tell Frito Lay how
wonderful Abott Mead is, escaped unhurt. The Walkers account will
cushion the shock.
