Campaign Diary: Euro RSCG attempts to see Batman get blown up out of all proportion

While Mark Wnek was away living the high life in Cannes, staff at Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper were forced to amuse themselves with the premiere of Batman and Robin in Leicester Square.

Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper were forced to amuse themselves with the premiere

of Batman and Robin in Leicester Square.

Of course, the paparazzi were kept busy with the likes of Arnold

Schwarzenegger and George Clooney, but the thronging crowds just got in

the way of staff from the offices overlooking Leicester Square who were

trying to star-spot.

That was until three creatives from Euro RSCG dreamed up the idea of

hanging a blow-up Spiderman out of their office window, which faces on

to Leicester Square, with a sign on it proclaiming ’Batman sucks’.

The 5ft-high inflatable cartoon character attracted the attention of

every passing pedestrian and enabled the trio - Dave Jennings, David

Chalu and Steve Rutterford - to identify each star and take pictures of

them.

One point though. Batman flies, so isn’t it Spiderman who sucks?
