Creatives should be careful when devising wacky executions for

ads.



As Alex Flint and Charles Harris, a creative team at The Leith Agency,

found out, sometimes wacky means a lot of work.



The team devised a recruitment ad for the agency in a bid to find a new

PA for the creative department. Emery boards - obviously playing on the

stereotype of idle, nail-filing secretaries - carrying the line ’bored

at work?’ and a plea for a creative PA on the reverse were to be

distributed around Edinburgh. But in creating their masterpiece, the duo

experienced what boredom at work is really like: they had to stamp their

messages on 3,500 files by hand.
