CAMPAIGN DIARY: GQ winner lacks drive

It’s surely everyone’s dream to win a competition where the prize is a new car or a motorbike. And we’re certain it was a dream come true for 32-year-old Londoner, Tony Willoughby, who scooped the booty in GQ’s ultimate lifestyle competition.

It’s surely everyone’s dream to win a competition where the prize

is a new car or a motorbike. And we’re certain it was a dream come true

for 32-year-old Londoner, Tony Willoughby, who scooped the booty in GQ’s

ultimate lifestyle competition.

GQ, along with its sister motoring title, Top Marques, put up prizes of

an MG sports car, a Yamaha 600cc bike, a Kawasaki jet-ski and various

other goodies for the winning entries.

And Conde Nast must have been looking forward to announcing the winner

along with glossy photos of the sexy young man whizzing off behind the

wheel of a gorgeous sports car.

Until, that is, Willoughby won. He can make use of the slightly less

mobile prizes such as a holiday, Tag Heuer watch and a Calvin Klein

outfit.

But the car and bike will have to stay under wraps for the moment - as

Willoughby can’t drive.
