CAMPAIGN DIARY: It’s Carry on Clamping with Barraclough Hall

Barraclough Hall Woolston Gray in Fulham for an agency based in central

London. It seems parking around Barraclough Hall’s offices in Rainville

Road had become something of a nightmare.

The agency always keeps a trusty look-out posted on reception who

quickly e-mails everyone to let them know if a traffic warden is on the

prowl.

Unfortunately, a couple of months ago, Andrews was in a meeting when the

crucial e-mail went round.

He reached his car to find a warden lurking. Calmly, Andrews debated

with the warden whether it was fair for him to get a ticket - before he

was given one regardless. Still, at least he enjoyed a starring role in

Clampers, BBC1’s fly-on-the-wall documentary about traffic wardens.
