When we saw a story in the Evening Standard about a council

clamping van being clamped in Soho Square, we thought the incident had

’ad agency prank’ written all over it. How right we were.



The van was clamped by Tugboat, an agency set up by Mitch Webber,

formerly of Dolphin.



It seems clampers in the square have been somewhat over-enthusiastic

recently, so Webber and fellow activists, Dave Brady and Julia Benwell,

spun into action.



It’s a laugh - but here’s a word of warning. It’s also illegal, so we’ll

keep you posted on whether the trio have been detained at Her Majesty’s

pleasure.
