things simply turned up on placement and expected their work to speak

for itself.



Last week, Iain McKell, who is a self-proclaimed ’acclaimed

photographer/director’, took his ’emotional video van’ around London,

positioning it outside agencies and, of course, Campaign’s office, to

attract attention.



The vehicle, basically an advan with a video screen (and speakers) on

one side, was spotted outside several agencies screening a very odd

’art’ film. The film starred lookalikes of the model, Sophie Anderton,

and the Loaded babe, Rachel Garley, stripping down to their skimpies and

rubbing each other with fake blood.



Our guess is that McKell wants to be a commercials director - and good

luck to him - but we reckon he’d go further if he did his research

properly.



Flyers described Anderton as the Wonderbra model, even though she was,

of course, the ’body’ for Wonderbra’s rival, Gossard.
