CAMPAIGN DIARY: WCRS footie clone fails to score but proves a hit at the Cafe de Paris

The ongoing saga of which agency can boast the most celebrity lookalikes within its ranks rages unabated. WCRS has unveiled its star player in the guise of Aston Villa’s Stan Collymore, aka Julian Douglas, one of the agency’s graduate trainees.

The ongoing saga of which agency can boast the most celebrity

lookalikes within its ranks rages unabated. WCRS has unveiled its star

player in the guise of Aston Villa’s Stan Collymore, aka Julian Douglas,

one of the agency’s graduate trainees.

Douglas bears an uncanny resemblance to the footballer and has been

known to play on the likeness when it comes to attracting the opposite

sex.

His piece de resistance came when he was out clubbing at the Cafe de

Paris with a friend a few weeks ago. Having queued for ages at the door,

Douglas was plucked from the crowd by an observant bouncer and ushered

into the VIP bar.

Never one to look a gift-horse in the mouth, Douglas played up to his

role and was given free champagne and the run of the club. It was only

when he started to chat up someone’s girlfriend that things got out of

control.

Douglas was punched in the eye by the aggrieved boyfriend before making

a swift exit.
