Ogilvy & Mather may have lost Guinness but it hasn’t lost its sense
of humour. On St Patrick’s Day staff gazing out of the windows (what
else is there to do in Canary Wharf? -Ed) noticed a couple of
helicopters circling overhead.
Thinking nothing of it, they ignored the flying objects until the
’copters circled several more times. Attached to the helicopters were
two giant inflatable Guinness cans.
According to the agency’s managing director, Richard Pinder, they took
it in good humour. So did the client - until threats were made to shoot
the inflatables down
