Carlson Marketing created a mad-cap mailing where the art direction was

humorous, direct and quirky and the copy engagingly milked the ski

lovers' vernacular. As a result, 1,032 ski nutters booked with Thomas

Cook Ski Direct - a 1 per cent response rate against the 0.5 per cent

expected.
