Campaign to End Loneliness "The loneliness project" by BMB

A young man called Joe spends a week on his own in a flat without any human or technological contact in a social experiment devised by the Campaign to End Loneliness.

Joe chronicles his experience in a video diary, as part of the campaign to create empathy for people who are socially isolated, particularly the elderly. At the end of the experiment he meets a widower next door called Barry, who is familiar with the feelings Joe experienced. The ad was written by Harry Boothman and art directed by Jenny Piggott.
