CAMPAIGN-I: News in brief

IPC Media is to give its women's portal BeMe.com a makeover in an attempt to have a more focused approach than the broad portal model that it has been following so far. It's not yet known whether the refocus will result in any redundancies. The portal is aimed at women in their early 20s and 30s. It launched a year ago, and had a TV sponsorship deal on the Channel 4 series Ally McBeal.
