CAMPAIGN-I: News in brief

The Internet Advertising Bureau is supporting a move toward

establishing opt-in as the standard practice for e-mail marketing across

Europe. The collective's new e-mail steering group, which is headed by

24/7's UK and Ireland managing director, Carl White, wants to have the

opt-in standard established by the end of the year. The Direct Marketing

Association is supporting an opt-out principal.

Digital marketing executives oversee the online marketing strategy for their organisation. They plan and execute digital (including email) marketing campaigns and design, maintain and supply content for the organisation's website(s).
