J. Walter Thomspon has created a campaign for Lipton Iced Tea featuring claymation models of celebrities. The first execution broke last November, and features Frank Sinatra refusing to give an encore at one of his concerts because he’s too hot under the stage lights. While his manager is trying to convince him to return to the stage, he helps himself to a can of Lipton Iced Tea, which has been chilling in a bucket of ice in his dressingroom. After gulping down the can, he exclaims, ’Yo, that’s Brisk baby’, and the show goes on. The ads were created by an American model-making company and generated press coverage after an appearance on Entertainment Tonight and NBC as well as other US television channels. There is a new execution planned to break in May although details of who it will feature have not been released.
