Campaign revamps Press Awards with a fresh look for 2005

Campaign is relaunching its prestigious Press Advertising Awards with an overhaul of the awards categories and a new format and venue for the awards night in 2005.

The changes will make the awards more relevant and give the event a new creative and contemporary twist.

The 2005 Press Awards will be held at the Old Truman Brewery on London's Brick Lane and the evening will have a fresh, modern format rather than the traditional black-tie dinner approach.

The awards categories have been updated to better reflect the marketing sectors in which campaigns have to work, and the rules for entry have been simplified.

Details of the new categories and how to enter the awards are inserted in this week's issue.

They are also available from Bridget Drummond on +44 (0)20 8267 4090 or bridget. drummond@haynet.com.

The latest crop of UK and international press ads are reviewed in two special Private Views (pp34-7) to mark the launch of the Campaign Press Advertising Awards 2005.
