Campaign Screen sees creatives get even

Leading creatives set clients alight, drown account managers and physically assault research groups in new advertising for Campaign Screen through St Luke's.

Dave Droga, the new Publicis worldwide creative director; Robert Campbell, joint executive creative director of Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R; Paul Briginshaw and Malcolm Duffy at Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy all feature in a viral campaign launching next week.

The first in a series of three press ads also launches in this week's Campaign, featuring Bruce Crouch, the creative director at Soul, taking his revenge on an account manager.

The campaign is based on the idea that creatives blame everyone else when their work goes awry.

The executions show the creatives exacting revenge on those who have caused work to be rejected by Campaign Screen, the DVD/video showcase of the world's best ads.

Each ad ends with the line: "Campaign Screen. If you're not in, blame someone."

The ads were created by Al Young and Julian Vizard, the creative directors at St Luke's, with the viral ads directed by Felt through Bikini Films.

Campaign Screen's editor, Lisa Campbell, said: "These ads are spot on in the way they tap into the mindset of creatives and highlight the high standards imposed by Campaign Screen.

"And judging by the way the creatives threw themselves into the parts, there is a lot of pent-up anger out there."
