Campaign Viral Chart: Netflix global launch ad takes top

A film featuring characters from Orange is the New Black to explain that Netflix is now available worldwide was the most-shared ad this week.

1. Netflix "ya heard?" by Netflix

The ad shows reaction from Orange is the New Black characters to Netflix going global. It has been shared 39,809 times this week.

2. Logbar "kisses in Tokyo"

The ad showing a man trying to kiss girls in Japan received a lot of backlash on social media this week. At the end the man cajoles a woman into kissing him, which has led to accusations of sexual harassment. The video has been shared 19,484 times this week.

3. Amazon "lonely horse" by Joint London

A small horse struggles to fit in with other horses on a farm so a lady buys a large cat flap through Amazon so that it can go into her house to be with her. The ad has been shared 16,713 times this week.

4. Geico "spy: it’s what you do" by The Martin Agency

A spy is in the middle of catching criminals when he receives a phone call from his mother. The ad was shared 9,922 times this week.

5. Turkish Airlines "epic street food"

The two-minute film shows the best of fish and bread available in Turkey’s street food markets. The spot has been shared 9,396 times in the past seven days.

6. National Geographic "what would you do if money didn’t matter?"

The film by Tragedy & Hope Productions shows images of money and people doing what they enjoy. It is set to a voiceover from late philosopher Alan Watts’ speech on why money shouldn’t matter when going after your passion. The spot was shared 8,805 times.

7. Intel "the making of drone 100"

The film gives a behind the scenes view on the making of the drone. It has been shared 7,642 times.

8. Victoria’s Secret "Victoria's Secret Angels lip sync ‘hands to myself’" by Victoria’s Secret

Models lip sync to the Selena Gomez song. The ad was shared 7,403 times this week.

9. Pioneer DJ "CDJ-2000NXS2 official introduction" by Pioneer DJ

The film promotes new decks including interviews with DJs and a look at all the features. It has been shared 5,207 times.

10. Fiat "Zoolander 2 blue steel" by Testa and Partners

Derek Zoolander, the hapless model played by Ben Stiller, constantly reverses around a corner in a Fiat car where it’s illegal to do so but the viewer realises he just wants his photo taken as he pulls his famous 'blue steel' look. He is stopped by a police officer and says: "I know, I was driving whilst too hot."

When taken to a station and shown the number of images the camera took he says: "Honestly, it’s some of my best work yet."

The ad promotes the second Zoolander film due to be released next month. It has been shared 5,015 times this week.
