Campaign Viral Chart: Samsung top with Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphone ads

The electronics giant dropped details of its latest smartphone in its three-minute video, released in conjunction with its debut at Mobile World Congress.

This minimalist walkthrough gives an overview of the new features in the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge, including waterproof casing, improved camera quality and a longer-lasting battery. It was shared 59,597 times this week.

Red Bull’s ad sees adrenaline junkies perform death-defying jumps from a cliff, a gorge and a skyscraper. The point-of-view camera from their helmets makes this montage even scarier. It was shared 45,335 times this week.

3. S7 Airlines and OK Go "upside down and inside out" by Damian Kulash and Trish Sie

The music video for viral superstars OK Go was shot on a plane in "zero gravity". It shows the band bouncing around with piñatas, exploding paint and colourful balls. Number one on the Viral Chart last week, it was shared 24,375 times this week.

4. Adidas "how to be no.1 with Navas"

Keylor Navas shares his training tips in this interview with the Real Madrid goalkeeper. Footage includes his drill exercises and archive footage from his matches with the club. It was shared 24,349 times this week.

5. LG "G5: official product video" by BBDO

A revolving platform shows dancing models wearing LG’s new range of devices – or ‘friends’ – which are all compatible with its G5 phone. A series of tongue-in-cheek sketches show the phone’s new functionality, including its ‘quick swap’ battery. It was shared 16,836 times this week.

6. Mountain Dew "puppymonkeybaby" by BBDO New York

Three men watching TV are accosted by the surreal puppy-monkey-baby hybrid, who carries a bucket of Mountain Dew Kickstart, a dew, juice and caffeine combo. After licking their faces, music plays and it incites them to dance out of the room. It was shared 15,629 times in the last seven days.

7. H&M "modern essentials selected by David Beckham spring 2016" by Adam & Eve/DDB London

The footballer models new pieces from his H&M range, but finds that the whole town is copying his sartorial choices. Following several outfit changes, he strips off to shower and everyone outside his apartment follows suit. It was shared 14,737 times in the last week.

8. Samsung "unpacking Samsung" by 72andSunny

A history of Samsung’s devices to date, this slick ad starts with the unboxing of its ‘brick’ phone. It morphs through various scenes to illustrate its technological ‘firsts’, including the world’s smallest TV phone and the first 3G call from Mt Everest. It was shared 10,576 times in the last 7 days.

9. Pepsi "blue card"

Two delivery workers turn up to an empty stadium. After kicking about a football they are surprised by a Real Madrid footballer, James Rodriguez, who gives them a ‘blue card’. They play a ‘dream game’ with other players. It was shared 9,169 times this week.

10. Android "monotone" by Droga5

A musician plays two pianos, one is a regular instrument and the other has been altered so all 88 keys play Middle C. The ad splits between the two, and ends with the Android tagline ‘be together. not the same". It has been shared 7,988 times in the last week.
