Cool Britannia may have taken a hit in recent weeks, but Ammirati Puris

Lintas’s appropriation of the concept for Rover was the clear

winner.

The votes were close this week on the swingometer, with one issue being

only a few clicks away from a hung vote. Fifty-seven per cent said Cilla

Black should leave Equity for breaking the commercials boycott with by

doing an ad for Safeway.



Fifty-eight per cent said football had reached saturation point as a

marketing tool, but subscribers can’t decide if there’s more to Sky TV

than its football-led sports channels: 52 per cent said they believed

the new ad campaign, but 48 per cent remained sceptical about the

attraction of movies and factual programming.
