Cannes Week - Lean Mean Fighting Machine named Interactive Agency of the Year

The UK tasted some Cannes success in Cyber as Lean Mean Fighting Machine won Interactive Agency of the Year.

However, the agency failed to scoop one of the three Grands Prix in the category. They went to Projector, from Tokyo, for its "Uniqlock" work for Uniqlo, Mediafront Oslo, with "Sol comments" for Scandinavia Online, and 42 Entertainment in Pasadena with "year zero" for the band Nine Inch Nails.

LMFM won more awards than any other agency (four golds, two silvers and one bronze) with ads for Emirates and Virgin Games. UK agencies won 16 awards in total - eight golds, six silvers and the rest bronze. They were glue London with three golds, The Rumpus Room, Poke, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Beattie McGuinness Bungay, The Viral Factory and Archibald Ingall Stretton.
