Carat hangs on to €75m Danone account after pitch

LONDON - Danone Groupe has reappointed Carat to its €75m (£51m) media planning and buying business in Belgium.

Carat will continue to handle planning and buying for Danone after a pitch against Media Planning Group, OMD and Mediaedge:cia.

The appointment follows reports earlier in the week that Media Planning Group has won Danone's planning and buying in France.

Carat Belgium has worked with Danone for 13 years. Danone's products include Evian, Volvic and Actimel.

Danone's review of its UK planning and buying arrangements is ongoing.
