The agency will help relaunch the brand in the UK, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Jack Link’s acquired Peperami from Unilever earlier this year. It plans to move away from crowdsourced ads and reintroduce Animal, the sausage character created by Lowe, on television.

The company also plans to launch a website, social media channels, promotions and PR activity.

Bhavesh Patel, the head of audiovisual at Carat’s parent company, Dentsu Aegis Network, said: "We are thrilled to be involved in such a recognisable product as it goes through an exciting and important relaunch."
