Hello! has hired Charlotte Stockting as its new commercial
The job has been vacant since the departure of sales and development
director John Humphrey in February.
Stockting left Carlton Screen Advertising, where she had spent two years
as head of marketing, earlier this year.
She will join Hello! on 15 June and report to publisher Sally
Cartwright. Stockting will draw on her extensive experience of magazine
publishing. She has held top posts on a number of consumer titles,
including working as publisher of Elle and Elle Decoration and marketing
director at Conde Nast.
Stockting will be responsible for all commercial activity on Hello!,
including advertising sales and brand marketing, but the role will
exclude copy sales. Stockting said she did not rule out the possibility
creating a masthead television programme for Hello! to take on OK! TV.
