CHI uses alternative ending and endline for Tango campaign

Clemmow Hornby Inge has developed a fresh twist to the existing Tango campaign with its latest ad, "barrel miss".

A 30-second ad for Britvic's fizzy orange drink introduces the endline: "You know when you've not been Tangoed."

It features an office worker being strapped face down on to a chair and then launched towards a barrel of oranges.

As he goes hurtling through the warehouse, a commentator says: "It's good, it's good, it's bad, it's very bad. He's missed the hit of the whole fruit." The man then ploughs painfully into a crate.

The ad, the final in a series of six executions, breaks on Sunday. It was written and art directed by Micky Tudor and Brian Turner and directed by Traktor through Partizan. Media planning and buying was through MindShare.

The campaign won a gold Lion at Cannes last month.
