Claire Wright moves to Proximity London

Proximity London has bolstered its management team with the appointment of Claire Wright as its managing partner.

Wright joins from Draft London, where she was the client services director for two years. In her new role, Wright will be responsible for developing Proximity's international client portfolio. She will also be charged with handling the pan-European InterContinental Hotel Groups account, which the agency won in January.

Wright said: "Managing and developing a brand on a global scale is one of the most exciting aspects of marketing. I'm delighted to join Proximity at this time of growth."

Amanda Phillips, the managing director of Proximity London, said: "Claire has outstanding experience with international brands and her proven ability to manage international accounts speaks for itself. Proximity's international portfolio is continuing to grow and Claire will be a major asset in the further development of this."

Wright spent five years at Draft. She joined Lowe Direct in 2000 as an international group account director on 3Com, before the two agencies merged in 2002. She became the client services director in 2003. Her early career included two years at OgilvyOne as the management supervisor for American Express across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
