Name: Andy Bryant Job: Director, creative, Red Bee Media (formerly BBC Broadcast) Professional mission: Create conditions in which great work can flourish Personal mantra: Find something you love doing and get someone to pay for it
5.30am Traffic-beating alarm. Just a few hours left to decide on a personal mantra. Carpe diem?
6.30am Morning ritual - A316 and Five Live. Doctor Who has won three National TV Awards - wonder if we can claim a bit of credit for our launch campaign.
8.30am Catch up with Susan Cooper, who is running our new brand launch. Feels strange being the client for once.
10.00am Brief designer Jo on my presentation for a TV conference in Singapore - The Ocean's 11 Approach To Creativity.
10.59am Audere Est Facere? Nope, only a fellow Spurs fan would get it.
11.00am Review work for a big pan-European channel identity pitch tomorrow.
12.15pm Our executive creative director, Charlie Mawer, takes me through the latest ideas for the BBC's FA Cup work.
12.30pm Weekly meeting with creative management team. Much hilarity about personal mantras. We review our US plans. Everyone starts mentally scheduling regular meetings in LA.
1.30pm Rehearse staff presentation. It's a double act - Pam Masters, our CEO, and me. I get to do the set-up and she does the big reveal.
2.45pm Meet Eve Rawlinson, who's leading our team on the ITV identity project. Our ITV4 work has been announced today.
5.00pm Champagne and presentation to the whole company in the atrium of our Broadcast Centre. And the new name for BBC Broadcast is ... Red Bee Media.
6.30pm Spin through final versions of our campaigns for I Want To Be A Hilton (UKTV Style) and Rome (BBC2). They leave me eager to watch both series, which must be a good sign.
7.45pm Home. Interrupt Charlie (13) watching Brainiac on Sky+ and Daisy (11) chatting with mates on MSN Messenger. Force them to watch our launch DVD with wife, Julia. Phew, my toughest audience likes it.
10.30pm Habitual flick through the EPG to stay in touch with what's on: Kath & Kim, TV Awards, Real Madrid live, Lost, all safely downloading ... and I get paid for this? That's my mantra sorted. Now, will they still like Red Bee in the morning?
