COMPAQ moves $36m direct account

- Compaq Computer has moved its £36 million ($60 million) direct marketing account into the Interpublic owned direct marketing network, Draft Worldwide.

The move comes two months after the PC manufacturer pulled its global $300 million creative and media accounts out of Ammirati Puris Lintas and moved it into DDB Needham.

APL, however, does still handle Compaq's interactive account.
