- Conde Nast has named Dylan Jones from the Sunday Times as the new editor of the UK edition of GQ.

Jones, who was most recently editor-at-large at the Sunday Times, is a former group editor at Wagadon, which publishes Arena and the Face.

He takes over at GQ from James Brown, who left in February following the publication of a controversial issue in which the Nazis and Field Marshal Rommel were listed in a feature on the 200 most stylish men of the 20th century.

The issue, which also featured a naked Caprice on the cover and included a photo spread of a woman trussed up in a blood-spattered bath, was the biggest-selling issue of GQ in its first week on sale - before the story broke in the media about the Nazi feature.

Nicholas Coleridge, managing director of Conde Nast, said: "I've wanted Dylan in the company for a long time. He's a high calibre journalist with a lot of experience from features to fashion to style. He is the right man in the right place at the right time. He's spot-on for GQ."
