Cosmopolitan names Times journalist as editor

–The National Magazine Company has appointed Times features editor, Lorraine Butler, as the new editor of Cosmopolitan.

–The National Magazine Company has appointed Times features editor, Lorraine Butler, as the new editor of Cosmopolitan.

Butler has just completed working on the redesign of the features section of The Times. She was previously editor of B magazine and deputy editor of Maire Claire.

Terry Mansfield, managing director, of National Magazines, said: "We are really lucky to have got one of the hottest talents in journalism today to edit Cosmopolitan. She will make Cosmo even fresher and more relevant to our readers."
