A creative at the Leith Agency has left to become a commercials

director, beginning his new career with a commission from his former

employers.

The art director, Terence Ste- vens-Prior, has quit the Leith after two

years. He was headhunted in 1993 from Saatchi and Saatchi Copenhagen,

where he was creative director, to partner Peter Mill and Ged Edmondson.

Gerry Farrell, creative director at the Leith, said: ‘If someone wants

to direct films, you can’t really stop them. When Terry joined us two

years ago, I said we wouldn’t be able to keep him for more than a couple

of years.’

Stevens-Prior’s first commission is for one of the Leith’s major

clients. He will then be represented by the Directory in London and MTP

in Scotland.

Stevens-Prior commented: ‘I’ve really enjoyed the Leith. It is maverick

in its own way, doing great work outside London. My first major project

will be for it - a series of national commercials for a good brand.’

I’m looking forward to collaborating with new people.’
