The duo, who has worked at Mother for six years, has joined Blink as directors.
Mandy and McNaughton created "Cats" for Ikea, which won a Gold for best individual film at the 2011 Campaign Big Awards. They have also won Gold Lions at Cannes for the furniture retailer’s "Playing with my friends" and "Beds".
Last month the duo, along with Mother’s joint head of strategy Katie Mackay, told Campaign "The wonderful everyday" was their favourite campaign for Ikea because it could "express the depth of the Ikea way of thinking about the world." Mother picked up Ikea's UK ad account in 2010.
Before joining Mother in 2010, Mandy and McNaughton both worked at Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R as creatives. Mandy joined from J Walter Thompson London in 2007, two years after McNaughton joined from Albion.
